The word originates from southwestern Nigeria and it refers to communal economic restoration. It can be viewed also as credit tool for saving unlike the conventional credit system where credit is used as a tool to spend more.
Click on “Group” in the home tab, select the ajo group you are interested in getting the information (if you have multiple ajo groups) look through the members in the group, the user with a crown shaped icon after his/her username is the next person to receive his/her saving.
When it is a user’s turn to get the savings-credit (money), the application deducts the pre-specified amount of saving for each month from the wallet of members of the cluster/ajo group and adds it to the wallet of the cluster/ajo group member whose turn it is to get the savings-credit and this can be withdrawn into the member’s bank account by taping the wallet icon on the bottom left of the screen and tapping the withdraw button and selecting “send to bank account” then selecting the preferred bank account, which would have set up during the signup process, select the currency and input the amount to be withdrawn not exceeding the amount reflected in the member’s wallet, then tap the proceed and the money would reflect in the selected bank account in a few minutes.

The charge will however not exceed £5 regardless of the amount you choose to deposit). After tapping the “fund via bank transfer” option, input the desired amount to fund your wallet and tap the deposit button. This action takes you to stripes’s (our payment partner) payment page showing a summary of the intended transaction and bank details for the transfer. You can choose to use the clipboard icon to copy the payment details and fill them out on your bank app or write it out and fill them out on your bank app, ensure you include the reference if your bank app provides a field for it. Make the transfer and tap the back icon on the top left-hand corner of your screen, wait a few minutes and refresh your wallet by dragging down the screen and your deposit would reflect in your wallet’s total balance.

Input your card details in the fields provided and click on the “securely save my information radio button…” if you would like to save the card details for faster funding in the future, and tap the pay button. tap the back icon on the top left-hand corner of your screen, wait a few minutes and refresh your wallet by dragging down the screen and your deposit would reflect in your wallet’s total balance.
Yes, for bank transfer wallet funding, our payment partner charges 0.5% of the amount deposited each time you fund your wallet this percentage is however capped at £5 (regardless of how much you deposit you won’t be charged more than £5) hence we recommend this method for wallet funding. For card funding our payment partner charges 1.5% of the amount deposited each time you fund your wallet plus an additional 20 pence this payment method has no cap on its associated charges this method of funding however takes a shorter period to reflect in your wallet compared to wallet funding by bank transfer. After signup you get a welcome bonus of £10 which can be used for your funding charges, therefore you will not be charged until your signup bonus is used up.
No, this can however be used to pay for transaction charges. Which means you still get that £10 signup bonus albeit indirectly.

Yes, to delete your account, tap on your account profile avatar/picture on the top right of the screen, then tap on the “settings” tab next to the “personal” tab above your profile avatar/picture, tap the deactivate account option and on the pop up select deactivate button, select an option to reason for deactivation questionnaire and select the “send feedback” button or skip if you wish not to send any feedback, input the pin chosen at the creation of the account or your new pin if you have changed your pin since you created the account and your account will be deactivated/deleted temporarily for 13 days after which deletion/deactivation becomes permanent.
